Balochistan-hailed Basit scored 28 runs before falling in the mid-overs. Rohail then joined in-form Shamyl and scored winning runs to lead his team's comeback in the series. Shamyl made unbeaten 57 runs followed by Rohail's cameo of 39 runs off 21 balls. Earlier, Pakistan Shaheens restricted ACT Comets at 121-7 in their second match. After deciding to bowl first, Shaheens got their bowling on target as they picked up the first wicket on the first delivery thanks to left-arm pacer Sajjad Ali. Sajjad bagged Eric Bell to provide an immediate breakthrough to his team. Nicholas Broes fought hard throughout as he stayed there for a long to score worthy runs for his team. He ended up scoring the highest 37 runs for his team. Zak Keogh managed to score 23 runs including two boundaries. Faisal Akram did destruction in the middle overs as he bagged two quick wickets to dent the opponents.
